Acryloxy-Modified Silicone Fluid
Acryloyloxy-modified silicone fluids are reactive silicones functionalized with (meth)acrylate groups on the siloxane backbone or side chains. Their typical structure features a Si–O–Si main chain with CH₂=CHCOO– or CH₂=C(CH₃)COO– groups, which allow for UV or radical-induced polymerization. Combining the flexibility of silicone with the reactivity of (meth)acrylates, these materials are widely used in UV-curable coatings, adhesives, 3D printing resins, textile finishes, and optical materials, providing excellent flexibility, low modulus, and weather resistance.
